Marriage is a special occasion in every culture, and for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) living in Delhi, it is no different. With the city being a melting pot of cultures, NRIs have the opportunity to experience a unique blend of traditional and modern wedding ceremonies.

NRI marriages in Delhi are a mix of traditional Indian customs and modern trends. The wedding ceremonies are usually conducted in accordance with the Hindu rituals, but with a few modifications to suit the tastes of the NRI couples. For instance, the bride and groom may opt for a western-style wedding dress, or they may choose to have a more traditional Indian wedding.

The wedding ceremonies usually start with the engagement ceremony, where the families of the bride and groom exchange gifts and blessings. This is followed by the mehendi ceremony, where the bride and groom apply henna on their hands and feet. The sangeet ceremony is a fun-filled event where the families and friends of the couple dance and sing. The wedding day is the most important day of the ceremony, where the bride and groom exchange garlands and take the seven sacred vows.
